Elysium and Aventus shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Yuck. Bottom line is this isnt a good example of what the man is capable of but it's not bad at all. NOURISHING BABY WASH: Made with 100% skin-natural nutrients, which are nutrients identical to those naturally found in skin, and prebiotic moisture to support baby’s skin natural health. Good one ! Wore my sample today and literally 1 minute after applying, i got 2 very enthusiastic compliments lol. If anything, the bottle is nice, but I don'y buy for the bottle. If you want to get right to the point, here we go: Yes,this is amazing in every possible way. Still testing so I'm not sure about the performance. Ovaltine Jenkins review was spot on. Like 70 percent similar. One major downside is that the longevity is way below average for something in this price range! It is not worth the price and I wish I had just sampled it instead of dropping $400 on the bottle. Writing a poem is about observing the world within or around you. sounds a very contradictory name to me. I really liked it and the longer it went on the less I wanted to make reductive comparisons because this stuff stands up by itself. That is to say, it smells strongly of lemon, breezy grass fields, and a bit of wood among other things. This smells alot like MFK Gentle fluidity with less of that smokey leather. Sillage is soft. In fact, I was excited to possibly own a bottle after recent rave reviews. Worked well on the body, not so well on his hair. It smells like Bleu de Chanel, Sauvage Dior, Aventus Creed ? Mind you, even after the initial application I had to dig in my nose just to appreciate the scent. Your email address will never be sold or distributed to a third party for any reason. Maybe a bit fresher. opening is heavenly but the drydown sucks. @jamesvt007 exactly brother, same thing was in my mind. Longevity is about 6 hours...skin and clothes. If you want an easy going, non offensive Niche fragrance this is the one. The currant's sweet fruit mixed with grapefruit's juicy bite and the brightness of lime and bergamot; an amber-like sweetness leaving a subtle trail no doubt a byproduct of the vanilla, a hint of woods brought on by clean rooty vetiver, and a salty, breezy like air, maybe the most curious and impressive aspect of the fragrance coming from a wonderful ambergris. Moderate projection and longevity. Here at Walmart.com, we are committed to protecting your privacy. I mean if you own this you probably already own some freshies but this is like a cool hybrid of scents, i do feel like this has a Aventus + BdC sort of vibe to it. I totally get the Aventus vibe. This does not smell like Aventus. Similarities are noticeable between BDC and this one. quality is second to none- the parfum version is even better, more rounded and deep! Same performance, very similar scent but half the price. Only then will you truly understand. I totally agree with HackerX. Can't say anything bad about it, could easily be a signature fragrance. Elegant and dignified, conservative and safe for most occasions. Such a sexy scent full of masculinity that will surely make you look gorgeous on every occasion (especially formal suit and tie). There's a borderline blueberry twist to it. I wrote a review on it earlier about it smelling like Aventus. Perhaps a little more elaboration would have helped my cause. Not pleasant at all. Performance is the only drawback, could be better, but then again to me it's just slightly below average for this proposal, as so with 95% of summer/spring uplifting niche fragrances so that's not a death penalty flaw in my book. But, the projection and sillage is moderate. Very clean and natural smelling, but it's so ethereal and light that I only get brief reminder of what the scent was intermittently during the wearing. To help protect your little ones delicate skin, we created Baby Dove Rich Moisture Hypoallergenic Baby Wash to help nourish and replenish your little ones delicate skin during bath time. This tear-free and hypoallergenic baby wash for skin and hair ensures bath time is all about smiles, not tears. It's synthetic to the extreme. They're pretty similar to me in their citrus and vetiver notes, with Elysium lacking that sweetness found in Edition Blanche. Smelled nice also [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]. The nose behind this fragrance is Roja Dove⦠This is in my top 3 favorite fragrances with Aventus & Aventus cologne! Itâs always the beautiful ones that disappear and leave, never to be heard from again . I keep the soap out of the stream of water at all times. It's natural, and at the same time completely unnatural--there's nothing similar in 'nature,' and it's also marked by this odd, industrial, almost-chemical like smell approximating varnish or some type of solvent...but only in the most pleasant way possible, and not even WEIRD weird, just very different and innovative. See any care plans, options and policies that may be associated with this product. Just wish I knew what concentration this was. As is, it nearly disappears and becomes a skin scent in about 30 minutes on my skin. This is the type of vibe this gives. Also, how can you give an opinion on a fragrance house when in fact you haven't even sampled that fragrance &/or house yet? This is another one hyped by the perfume communities. I feel as if I should redo my previous review as it was for the Parfum version. This fragrance is clearly made with quality ingredients. Great citrus opening, and dries down slightly woody. Talk about a scent that has been through the wringer. Though I like the fragrance, it comes and goes in minutes. Doesn't really remind me of Bleu de Chanel (upon which this was apparently based, by Roger Dove). Personally, I think a fruity wood scent is always a fantastic option and this is no different. Smells like a hand soap in a fancy restaurant. I've been comparing BDC EDP and Elysium PC for a week now. and realizing it was Elysium. Believe me, Aventus is called the King for a reason... You say you trust your nose but yet buy clones?? Don't worry about a thing! I bought it a few days ago. Comparisons with Bleu de Chanel are valid when you look at the note brakdown and Creed as I keep mentioning, so it's in good company really. I had high expectations looking at all the citrus notes on here but what do i smell? Why do you revere this average fragrance so much? This smells incredible, but man the longevity is so bad. Finally got my nose on this highly anticipated creation....and was instantly disappointed. Still looking forward to trying the parfum version where some say the fleeting longevity and projection of the parfum cologne has been greatly improved. The fruity opening never goes completely away on me. It's hard to discern the exact notes in that dry down, but it's blended extremely well, and smells amazing. I've seen a lot of people say this is Roja's Aventus. Beautiful fragrance high quality ingredients. Smells like Versace Eau Fraiche done with better quality ingredients. On the flip side, I love some stuff nobody else does so go figure! It's a Niche style bleu/fresh scent but it is good. It's well blended and long lasting but it's plain to see this is Roja's attempt to ride the coat-tails of the Aventus/Bleu de Chanel-esque masculine success stories. The ambergris settles in and the scent seems to have a mind of its own. Roja Parfums Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne opens with a moderate projection of citrus, green, woody, spicy, and musky accords. While sometimes it is nice to have softer scents, if it costs this much, I don't want to have to reapply it throughout the day. Iâm amazed how long the citrus opening lasts, it never really completely leaves. Also, Roja being such this vintage master, I feel like this was for him like submitting a math +A student to a philosophy essay and he still managing to get excellent results. It definitely doesnât smell bad, but it definitely doesnât smell like itâs worth $300. What I really enjoy is this nice vanilla that's blended so well with the other notes. not aventus bur for me it reminds me of royal water of Creedâs. A superb fragrance from a true artist, it deserves the praise it gets for the scent. Significantly better. I'm going to start out with my initial thoughts on this perfume and it was...oh...it's another Aventusesque perfume from a nose who I know isn't in the business of jumping on a bandwagon, regardless of what you think about him. Next to Aventus and Green Irish Tweed this would come in a close third. I'm surprised nobody else has mentioned this yet. Please enable JavaScript in your browser and reload the page. I switched to another brand in between but my girl's hair got frizzy after 2nd wash. Biggest Contradiction ever. I'm not getting the BdC thing, I guess my nose is broke. Wonderful fragrance. Is it inventive? Elysium looks to me like an expensive version of Dior sauvage with some element that also reminds me of Polo blue. I'd used this as another office fragrance to mix up the lot (if I were to buy a bottle). At the current prices, I couldn't justify buying a full bottle of it with moderate longevity and sillage. Blind buy worthy? I get an Aventus like vibe from it but not as in a clone/copy etc because they smell different but just the richness and masculine freshness. If you want to create a product that stands out, experiment with ingredients like scents, colors, and moisturizers until you create a soap ⦠To my nose Elysium fairs closest to La Nuit de L'Homme by YSL and Xerjoff 1861 Renaissance. I would say this scent could be whatever you want it to be. ⦠Sorry Roja and to all of those who think this stands alone but it is what it is. This seems thrown together haphazardly. Thank goodness it wasnât true. I've never gotten the similarities to aventus or bdc. To find out ⦠If you have Aventus donât rule it out because people are saying it smells like it. In short - a soft, slightly aquatic fruit punch/bubble gum scent with a couple familiar notes from Aventus. After a while it started to get little bit sour on me, which I guess is the grape fruit. Iâm my opinion this Parfum Cologne line of Rojas is a failure. It is so utterly generic and 'designer sports frag' in its appeal, I'm kind of shocked to see the price tag. I love how it smells. The lemon, bergamot, lime, and grapefruit create a delectable, very sour, and intense note that makes the fragrance very fresh, the bergamot and lemon are more noticeable than the lime or grapefruit. νικά | æ±è¯ | Nederlands | Srpski | RomânÄ | اÙعربÙØ© | УкÑаÑнÑÑка | Ðонгол | ×¢×ר×ת | Luxois Watches | Thats why Baby Dove is here to help give you confidence that youre providing the best skin care for your baby's skin. Better off trying to read in the dark my friend. I'll keep my 5 ml sample for sure, but that will be the end of it. Longevity wise I haven't had the problem others have had with this fragrance, atleast to my knowledge. It is the most ⦠Just got this today and while I own many fragrances, I seldom write a review other than when the scent triggers a familiar scent from my past/present. I received my bottle today and I already own Duaâs Supernova and Alexandriaâs Zion. An easy to wear summer staple. Disappointingly so -- granted, spraying from a decant atomiser but needed quite a bit of application to get even close to desired sillage and even then it didn't hit the mark. While I understand how we all draw comparisons of the two I cannot stress how different they are the more I wear the two. Would cost me a whole lot less too. Good product. We are sorry to hear about your and your son's experience. Wonderful scent. With Elysium it's more the opposite - 60% citrus (more grapefruit than orange)/40% vetiver. 2-3 hours. To my nose, the closest thing to this, in my opinion, is Chanel's Allure Homme Edition Blanche. Love it. It starts off a greener, woodier Aventus, pretty underwhelming given the notes list but I guess that's a price you pay for a blurry blend rather than the whole product based on 1 focused note. People are always looking for "The next thing" the next thing that gets compliments / noticed the next thing that nobody else is really wearing and if you wear it you'll stand out in a good way. The two are almost identical! My only complaint is price. Our Tip to Toe Wash is sold in 6.5 oz., 13 oz., and 20 oz. This is primarily a vetiver fragrance. For the money there is no magic. Longevity and projection are decent. Really poor all around and when you look at the price tag its almost joke worthy. This is fresh on a whole new level. Only at the end does it soften and give way to a smooth vanilla/benzoin scent. I've had a good longevity from this one, in fairness and in contrast with what others have experienced. I bought a bottle last month as I believed it would be good to wear in warm weather. Roja Dove Elysium is the definition of overpriced hype. This is a composition which sounds simple but when you smell this perfume, I'd say it's more effortless the way the accords are permeable, bleeding into one another. Elysium is more dymanic than both Aventus and Bleu and it's more sophisticate than Bleu for sure. If I wanted this kind of ambergris-based luxurious fresh menâs scent I would opt for Parfums Vintage Emperor instead. Just putting out my honest and humble opinion about this one. Loving this scent. What do i think of Elysium? Do not be fooled. the drydown is similar to some jo malone fragrance with that dna. The base I donât pick up the listed notes very much, maybe the ambergris some. Elysium has a nice bright citrus and vetiver combination that smells pretty damn nice. You wonât find a more elegant and refined blue fragrance than this. It,s much softer and more natural than Chanel and Dior and less barbershop and creamier than the excellent Aventus. It can't be denied though that this is one of Roja Dove's more mainstream style, masculine fragrances. Smells better too. Please do not read for now, I think I got a fake from ebay from natural007, I think he sent me fake juice as it smells dead ringer to sultan by al rehab, I will update once I get to the bottom of this. I think it an insult to BDC and Aventus if Elysium were compared to those genre defining releases. I was looking for a replacement of Aventus and i really wanted to like this one, but for me this is the worst from Roja, and the longevity is terrible on me. Saekhh - I can't help you, I ask the same question to myself daily when I see fragrances getting such rave reviews but I hate it. The only similarity between this and Aventus is that they both get a lot of hate about their performance in relation to their price. Yep, you know the story, even Roja has his Aventus. I wash his hair 2-3 times a week. I regret to say I don't enjoy this. I can tell you this fragrance had a great longevity, 10+ hour. This is a very nice fragrance. To my nose the Roja is superior. The scent is beautifully crafted like a luxury lemmony bathroom spray that wanted very much to be the trophy husband of Profumum Roma's Acqua Viva but instead gave up around "hump-o'clock" at the bar and went home for a Wobbly H with BDC and Sauvage. One of my favorite frags of all time. Bright citrus on top of a darker woods. Super versatile. Very nice scent a very safe scent. With TDH, I get 60% vetiver/40% citrus (more orange than grapefruit). In fact, thereâs better freshies out there that cost a small fraction of this. That being unique, powerful, intense works of art. It is easily a 3 season fragrance for me. This makes you feel like a rich guy who gets respect without trying too hard. So I bought âEnigmaâ by Roja Parfums and they gave me Elysium as a free sample. I have owned this fragrance for a year now and I still look forward to applying and will be purchasing another new bottle soon. The performance isn't great however. It smells great! Very fresh, and likeable. OF course it is much, and I say much much higher quality than Bleu, or other designer fragances compared to Elysium. Just one drawback with Elysium being rather mediocre performance. Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne by Roja Dove is a Aromatic Fougere fragrance for men.Elysium Pour Homme Parfum Cologne was launched in 2017. Itâs not the same and I honestly think itâs a better performer, with some similar notes and a similar overall theme. No. This is not in your face powerful blue notes bombed with ambroxan, but this is hard to dislike and subtle, unless you love heavy perfumes. Same type of of fresh fragrance but definitely not a clone. Elysium parfum cologne is what happens when Roja and his team takes Aventus, smooth out the hard edges and tones down the smoky leather to create an undeniably impressive masculine scent. But on scent, it's amazing. Even as an Aventus lover, I have absolutely no idea what people's obsession with "Aventus killers" and comparing literally anything to Aventus. Nice citrusy opening that quickly dries down to an extremely distinct vetiver DNA. :(. Fragrantica® Inc, San Diego, CA United States. We love this stuff! I wore a 10ml decant of this last summer. So despite the high expectations I will have to sell my decant. Looking for something for your babys extra sensitive skin? Itâs not beastmode but what gentleman would want to choke people out? I mostly get grapefruit, blackcurrant and lemon with a really smooth woody base. Gets comparisons to a lot of other scents but this just has an edge in terms of being mass pleasing but smelling like nothing else of this quality. Love this scent it's a juicy fresh spring summer fragrance that for sure has an " Aventesc" experience but it has definitely its own identity which I personally prefer. Well again I have to row against the current with a perfume of red Dove. It is but after seeing one review about thinking they got a fake of it, I'm wondering how many others might have gotten a fake? Overall, 6/10 it's good but the hype doesn't live up to the price. I like it but I don't love it. There's not much to add that others haven't already commented on - it is an excellent fragrance that opens with bright top notes but it really shines on the dry down. It smells remarkably similar Bleu EDP as has been noted already. I have no clue how vetiver is listed as a dominant note here. Not very interesting scent to be honest. So there's that. Elysium is better, and a bit more modern, but very close. But itâs better. Love the smell and smoothness. Very versatile, aromatic, long lasting. One phrase to sum it up: Roja Dove does Creed Aventus. I really want to love it but for me its too typical for its price. Lotta negative performance reviews on here. When my twins were babies, I didn't know Dove made a baby wash, so I used another brand, but then saw it in the store when they were toddlers, so I gave it a try. Everyone stripped, the group move out back for dares. This grapefruit, amber, oriental heaven with touch of incense will make you. Dove body wash is sulfate free with a mild, pH-balanced formula, making it a great body wash for dry skin, unlike typical bath soap ⦠Possibly the best opening Iâve ever smelled, ever. The juniper berries and black currant work together as an enhancing note, they are prominent and add a fresh, woody, piney, green, resinous, fruity, tangy, green, and slightly musky ammoniac accord. E, or e, is the fifth letter and the second vowel letter in the modern English alphabet and the ISO basic Latin alphabet. Its name in English is e (pronounced / Ë iË /), plural ees. I made the purchase as soon as I could from the sample. Parfum Cologne? Maybe some people are going noseblind and then complaining about longevity or maybe just have bad skin? It's so buried beneath the apple and berry accords as to be non-existent. The lemon, bergamot, juniper berries, black currant, and pink pepper are the opening noticeable notes. There's the similar opening of slightly dark fruit that makes it way to light musk. The high quality salty ambergris carries the whole composition from opening to the dry down. At nearly $300 for a 100ml bottle, this fragrance is grossly overpriced. Please read the Terms of Service and Privacy policy. First Impression: Although clearly defined as ânicheâ based on price, ingredients and the parfumeur involved, this fragrance is a mere continuation of a lot of niche brands in the last couple of years stepping away from the more daring, complex and challenging scents. For that i would take one of the main stream from channel or dior even at same price. It's not really like Aventus at all, but if you have one, you don't need the other. and only english!! At first spray it reminds me of Aventus, but not as smokey. I prefer Zion as it is of higher quality, while Supernova smells cheap, loaded with cheap ambroxan! The are only similar in class only: Citrus, woody aromatic. Look for Baby Dove Fragrance Free Moisture Hypoallergenic Wash. What others said when purchasing this item, Very gentle, still using on 5 year old twins. Not that it's bad it certainly doesn't reflect what Roja does best. Sublime, salty, fresh, and absolutely breathtaking. Fresh and casual fragrance with an Aventus/blue de chanel vibe for the first few mins , then it goes to a different direction and develops its own identity.
