Or better yet, make it have a wide cone of attack so we can hit twitchy bahemoths more reliably. i guess they really like the infinite beam. but you don't need to focus on dying now! Although the damage numbers look small, I have found it extremely hard not to get gold Slayer damage. I agree that the current state of most exotics is not good. this needs a rework, a major one. When you're comparing other cell slot helmets then thats a different thing and up to the weapon you use. It was multiple bugs acting on each other, NOT just Echo. but of course this is just my opinion and observation playing from my region. The Exotics in Dauntless are a lot of fun as they have an extra special ability that really sets them apart. Other helmets might give a more consistent effect but echo has more potential to kill faster if you time it right (preferably towards the middle/end of the fight). The helmets are: Tragic Echo; Prismatic Grace; The Skullforge; The weapons are: The Hunger, which is a sword; The Molten Edict, which is a hammer I do agree though, when it's GOOD though, it's GREAT. I think its still working because i'm seeing nice dmg numbers and short timed runs. To start building an Exotic you have to get a certain Behemoth to drop a blueprint for that Exotic. Cunning is a very low dmg boost which is nice when paired with echo slow weapons for a huge double hit pre-patch. Other than that... meh. Tragic Echo - It's ok but for me using Predator and not getting hit feels better than dying on purpose for the short dmg buff. Battle ferocious Behemoths, craft powerful weapons, and forge your legend in the Shattered Isles. Its got great aesthetics and the Q is super cool but it just doesn't deal enough damage to reward the danger it puts you in, imo. It's annoying when the effect bugs out and you fail the hunt in solo though. It can also wound Behemoth parts easily with its light attacks, making it a valuable weapon to have for Slayers looking to down Behemoths fast. That was so obviously a ridiculous unintended exploit that I can't believe you're even weighing what it used to be as a relevant data point. Until they fix the tragic echo bug Godhand is the go to exotic. That bricked the item. This is a comparison to note that what used to be an absurd item is now an item that is in line or below the line for what we currently have available.
